and loved for her unique ability to transform a family portrait into a soulful reflection of who you are. Judy
has w

1st in the world (twice) and 2nd (four times) at the WPPI awards held
in Las Vegas.
She has also attained her
Master of Photography title (with 2 Gold Bars) from the NZIPP in New Zealand.
Judy’s
colourful, zany images of cats and dogs are recognised worldwide and
have featured on national TV in the USA. Her range of Hallmark greeting cards was recognised with a prestigious “Henry” award and Judy was named “Pet Photographer of the Millenium” by popular Australian magazine, Pets and Vets.Portraits by Judy Reinen are eagerly sought after.
Often overseas on international assignments, Judy's time is limited and
it is best to book in advance to ensure her expertise in creating a
timeless portrait you will cherish forever. As a client recently commented,
“the pictures Judy took reflect who we are as a family and have transformed our house into a home."Achieving a photographic career studded with highlights on the international stage comes
almost as a surprise to Judy, whose ambition growing up in
Auckland, New Zealand was to become a vet. However, as the daughter of
an excellent scenic photographer, it would appear photography is in her
blood!Judy had a camera in her hands at a very early age and learned the concept of taking beautiful photographic images that could be applied to different products from her father. The skills she developed have proved an inspiration for Judy’s own work as her images now appear on products around the world.
With her fun, effervescent personality, a portrait session with Judy is an experience in itself!
As busy as Judy is with her international work, she has a personal quest that people
do
get around to having a family portrait. After her father passed away 7
years ago, Judy realised how important it is to have wall portraits, and what it feels like to miss out.
A personal note from Judy...
" I wish I had a professional portrait of me and my Dad, this is one of my biggest regrets. When you see, feel and
re-live a moment in time with the people you love, you understand,
cherish and value beautiful portraits.
Embrace life with
your families. Have their expressions, fun and laughter captured. Now
is the time! Today never brings back yesterday.
Don’t take people for granted. Life is too precious not to have portraits of the people you love.”
